Terms of service

Plain language, because you’re running a kitchen. Tablecard is operated by High Point Labs LLC. Using the service means you accept what’s below.

The service

We build a website for your business from publicly available information and hold it at a private address. It is not published, and search engines are asked not to index it, until you claim it by scanning the code on your card or entering that code on our site. Claiming it starts a subscription of $49 per year, charged to the payment method you provide.

What’s included

Hosting, a Tablecard subdomain, and reasonable content edits requested by email or text — hours, prices, menu items, photos, links. “Reasonable” means the ordinary upkeep of a single-location site, not a redesign or a new application. If a request is out of scope we’ll tell you before doing anything.

Your content

Your menu, name, photos and other business information remain yours. By claiming the site you grant us permission to host and display that material for as long as you’re a subscriber. You confirm you have the right to use what you send us, including photos. Ask any time and we’ll export your content to you.

Accuracy

The initial site is assembled from public sources and may contain errors. Once you claim it, keeping it accurate is a shared job: you tell us what changed, we make the change. We’re not liable for losses arising from out-of-date information we weren’t told about.

Billing and cancellation

Subscriptions renew annually until cancelled. Cancel by replying “stop” to any email from us or writing to the contact address; the site stays up until the end of the paid year, then unpublishes. If you cancel within 30 days of first claiming your site, we’ll refund the year in full.

Acceptable use

Don’t ask us to publish unlawful, deceptive or infringing material. We may decline a request or remove content, and in serious cases end the subscription with a prorated refund.

Liability

The service is provided as is. We aim for continuous availability but don’t guarantee it, and we make no promise about search rankings — no one honestly can. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms materially we’ll email subscribers before the change takes effect. Questions go to hello@tablecard.co. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
